  The Season For Sunbaking And Relaxing is between the end of  March to September, because the wind condition are calm, very sunny with pristine blue water’s. 

Surf conditions between the end of July to November, has mainly calm Off Shore Wind’s and good wave conditions but the swell is not as big as November to April swells 

Surf conditions between November to April has consistantly Huge Swell, but more On Shore Winds. What you do is go to the side or back of the Island where the protected break’s are, or ask the local’s where there are more protected breaks.The local’s will point you in the right direction.

But ,,,You Know Mother Nature, She Can Be Unpredicable

 

                                          The Secret Left Hander

 


CLOUD 9: A short powerfull right hand barrel off a semi-point, best at medium to high tide and 2` to 6` foot, but can hold big swell.
A 4 to 5 minute walk from the resort.  

 


JACKING HORSE: At Jacking Peak that explodes onto a shallow reef then tappers off         and then reforms on the inner reef, mainly breaks to the right, with a short left, ridable at 2` to 7` foot, medium to high tides are about the best viewing distance from the resort.  


BOMBORA OR POO SHOOTER`S: A fast barreling left that runs along a reef then turns right and run`s into deep water, best with no wind or a light south west, viewing distance from the resort.There is a right and left hander 150m to        the north of poo shooter`s and you can paddle across from jacking horse or hire a boat.  


STIMPY'S: A classic lefthander that wraps around a small island into a cove which is under 4 foot, but becomes alot harder breaking over that size but still perfect breaking. Great tube and will handle large swell. Accessible only by boat, viewing distance from the resort with binoculars.  


TUESDAY ROCK: An excellent righthander that peels and barrels for 200 yards off a rock island. Located 2 to 3km from jungle reef, best with no wind low to medium tide and can hold swell up to double over head. Accessible only by boat, viewing distance from the resort with binoculars.  


SHIFTY'S: A righthand reef break just south of pilar in side the river mouth of pilar, near santa fe, best at low to medium tide, south to south west   wind. A Fun right hander at 2 to 4 foot but will hold larger swell.  


PILAR LEFT HANDER'S: There are 2 left breaks, one breaks in front of the wharf of pilar       and the other breaks close to the township of pilar.

CARIDAD LEFT: This awesome left barrel breaks on a jagged reef ledge, east to north east swell is the best, protected from north west to south west winds which are off shore.  


PACIFICO: A world class left that breaks down and along a reefy rocky ledge. This is a long barreling left and towards the end a hotdog section.

TUASON POINT OR CLOUD BREAK: A very hard breaking left that jumps up on a bomby 200 yards off shore and comes in and runs down over a shallow rocky reef, with great big holes. This is a very powerfull and hard breaking wave. The wave selection is crucial at this break, 4 foot and over is the best.  


CEMETERIES: A left and right that beaks between a gap in the reef, directly in front of the general luna cemetery, half a km off shore. North east to south east swell is the best for this break with a south west to west wind.

GUYAM ISLAND: A mellow left hander off the island with a sharp reef north east to east swell with south to south west winds.  

 


DAKU ISLAND RIGHT HANDER:  There are 2 right hand breaks, one at the top of the island and the other in the middle. They both like north to north east swell and south to south east winds.

DAKU ISLAND LEFT: Nice wave need medium to high tide, short but good north west to   west winds are the best.

PANSUKYAN REEF: Needs medium to large swell direct from the east to south east with   light, south west to west wind. This wave looks like an up side down tear drop shaped barrel that runs down a reef. The wave jumps up out of  the ocean from know wear.

LA-JANOZA, MAM-ON, ANTOKON, ANAJAUAN ISLAND: There are another 4 or 5 breaks around these island which are perfect. On arrival at Jungle Reef Resort there is more information on the surf breaks, ask Emelito for more details.
